The purpose for this page is to get people to understand what the bible says about the our environment; in this part specifically the sky and it's relation to the earth. I have been re-reading the bible. My picture taking, rock collecting (more on that soon) and newly given sight have come full circle; this experience has brought me back to God, the bible and the misinformation we've been given in regards to life as human beings, our world and those we share it with, the sky and the heavens. Bible verses taken from the orignal version of the King James Bible (1611). Modern bible versions may be easier to read, but meanings are distorted when using modern english. In my opionion, the bible was distorted from the beginning by those under the influence of demonic forces. Whether by scribes, or the orignal writers themselves, I can't say; but I believe it may be a mixture of both. If you read the bible, with an understanding of what you see around you, you will be enlightened and shocked. You would also believe in God, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, know that Satan is real and understand why and how our lives are effected by presence of spirits. (Corinthians 11:13-14 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself transformed into and angel of light.)
I'd like to ad that I've found that the bible is more literal than anyone might want to imagine. Jesus spoke in parables; but only to those without ears to hear.

Genesis 1:6-8 God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. Read the bible; research, look to the dictionary to understand words you're not quite sure the meaning of; don't guess. If you've been "churched," so to speak, you probably have a concept of things which was told to you. And if your anything like me, there are many parts of the bible you've never even delved into. For instance, the story of Lot and his daughters, whose wife turned into a pillar of salt; I never had that bible lesson. While reading Genesis a few months ago, I was amazed and bemused. I've read the first few chapters many times and never actually comprehended what I was reading. When we have a preconceived idea of something, because that's what we learned, or were told, hearing otherwise seems to cause anger and defensive wall goes up; to the point that many refuse to hear another concept. We take things told to us, by people we love, trust and/or believe to be experts in the area being studied. This is not to say that they aren't, but perhaps they too have been misled.
